Plans for the Week

Due to the additional snowfall on top of already icy roads, making conditions even more slick, Southern Lyon County schools, including daycare, will be closed today, Friday, January 10th.
Please stay safe and warm,
Ryan Muhlig
Superintendent

In an effort to ensure safe travel due to impending weather, we have pushed up the start of Junior High Basketball vs Waverly on Thursday, January 9th.
The schedule is now as follows:
Old Gym
4:00 1/2 Game of JV Girls
New Gym
4:00 Full game of JV Boys
Varsity Girls
Varsity Boys.
High School girls basketball will practice in the Old Gym after the conclusion of the Junior High Girls game.
The fundraiser for the Nunley family will go on as planned. Thank you for your understanding.

Hartford and Neosho Rapids will have a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 8th. Bus routes will be delayed by two hours and classes will begin two hours later than normal. Elementary students will report to classrooms on arrival and junior/senior high students will report to their 3rd block class after picking up schedules.
Please allow for extra time traveling to school, and please travel safely.

School and daycare will be canceled for Tuesday, January 7th. Hopefully this will give maintenance crews more time to clear ice from highways and give our maintenance team a chance to make sidewalks safe for everyone. Please stay safe and warm!
