Reminder 😄 Parent-Teacher Conferences are TONIGHT until 7:00 PM. Please swing by and see us. Truly. Seriously. Our teachers start getting a little dramatic when no one shows up, and it can get real awkward real fast! We’d love to chat with you your kid. Come on in!

And let’s be clear… Hartford is the OG.
We have been there for EVERY tournament since 1922.
We’re the ONLY school that’s been in EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
Generations of Jaguars. Packed gyms. History made on hardwood. If you know, you know.

With the upcoming cold temperatures and wind chills, please make sure kids are coming to school dressed for this type of weather; students should have a warm coat, pants, and appropriate footwear especially for students who might be walking or riding the bus. Even short periods at these temperatures can be dangerous.
If you're in need of winter clothes, food, or heat for your family, please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know. We are more than happy to connect you with the appropriate resources!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our survey at the end of last semester. Your feedback helps move us in the right direction and we appreciate all who took the time to respond! We will have another opportunity to provide feedback after Spring Break, and invite all community members to participate in our Site Council Meeting that will be held during Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Cold weather is here, so please send kiddos with a warm jacket because hoodies aren't quite enough anymore. Closed-toe shoes instead of Crocs or sandals and a pair of gloves are a big help too. We'll plan to be outside for recess unless it's below 20 degrees or there's precipitation, so being dressed right really matters

Keila Sherman from the John Redmond WRAPS (Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy) brought the Earth Balloon presentation to Hartford 6th graders today. They learned about the need for water and soil conservation efforts, as well as a geography review! Students were able to go inside the balloon to explore even more geography! Thank you to Mrs. Garriott and Keila for this opportunity!

📢 Friendly Reminder, Jaguar Families!
As the temperatures drop, please make sure students come dressed for outdoor recess; coats, hats, gloves, long pants. Our elementary teachers take kids outside whenever possible unless precipitation or extreme cold keeps us in.
Recess is a big deal and it helps kids get the wiggles, willies, and all the things out of their system so they can focus learning.
Thanks for helping keep our Jaguars warm, happy, and ready to learn!
