24 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
On Sept. 13th, 8th and 10th grade students from both Olpe and Hartford will participate in in RealityU at Olpe High School. Through the RealityU program, we help students gain important financial literacy knowledge to help plan for their future while recognizing the importance of their education today and how it is tied to their financial future. It’s all packed into a highly interactive simulation of life!
The event will take place from 9:00am to 11:00am.
Please contact Mr. Shane Clark at sclark@usd252.org if you are available to help! It takes a community of volunteers to pull off this event.

Hartford and Neosho Rapids Schools are seeking applicants for bus drivers, a full time substitute teacher, and daily substitutes for both classified and certified positions.

Neosho Rapids was given an all clear to return to the building at approximately 8:30 AM. Thank you Neosho Rapids faculty and staff for your fantastic response in evacuating offsite. Emergency Personnel, thank you for your response to keep everyone safe. Our children were poised and patient throughout the morning! I am extremely proud of everyone!

Enrollment for HHS/NRE is tomorrow, Wed., August 3rd from 12 pm to 8 pm. If you have not, you can go to the usd252.org website to find forms, Free/Reduced Meal application online, and help reduce your time in line! We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

The online form is MUCH easier than the paper forms and it is really helpful for these to be done prior to enrollment so that we can get accurate information with fees.

Hartford and Neosho Rapids students were presented the 2021 Challenge Award by our state board of education representative Ben Jones today. We are proud to be recognized for our efforts in state testing last year and hope to receive another challenge award next year!
Due to inclement weather, Southern Lyon County schools will have a 2 hour delay this morning, March 10 with busses running accordingly. Child care will open at 9:15 and school doors will open at 9:30 with classes beginning at 10AM.
Southern Lyon County Schools will be closed due to inclement weather Thursday, February 17th. Daycare will also be closed. All activities are canceled. Parent Teacher Conferences will be rescheduled at a later date.
