With respect to masking on school buses, please note the following from the CDC and acknowledged by KSDE: Effective February 25, 2022, CDC is exercising its enforcement discretion to NOT REQUIRE that people wear masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education/child care programs.
Effective Immediately, masks on school transportation are recommended, but not required.

Southern Lyon County Daycare locations at Olpe and Neosho Rapids will be closed on Friday February 18th due to road conditions caused by today's inclement weather.
Southern Lyon County Schools will be closed due to inclement weather Thursday, February 17th. Daycare will also be closed. All activities are canceled. Parent Teacher Conferences will be rescheduled at a later date.
