Please follow the procedures below when providing input/comments during the Board of Education Meetings:
Public Comments will follow these procedures:
Public input and the amount of time each speaker may speak is 3 minutes.
Groups are to select a representative speaker instead of listening to several people say the same thing.
State your name and topic. If representing a group, provide a group list of names to the clerk, otherwise only the speaker will be noted in the minutes.
Unless the speaker is congratulating the board or a staff member, be careful to avoid violations of student and employee privacy rights.
Speakers should not name specific students, employees, or individuals in the public meeting.
Inappropriate statements or violating student/employee privacy rights may result in removal from the meeting.
