Well done Olpe 6th-12th grade students! We blew away our goal by donating 2,788 items to the Hartford Food Pantry which serves the families in the 252 school district! Our STUCO members delivered the items and presented them to Ruth & Jack Scoggin who founded the pantry and Pastor Gene Houston who manages the pantry. What a great way to kick off the holiday season, giving back to others! The best way to be civically engaged. Thanks to all who donated!

Last week our 5th graders received a nutrition lesson from the K-State Extension Office. This lesson focused on students reading nutrition fact labels, and examining fat and sugar in some of their favorite foods. An added treat that everyone got to try was hummus with pretzels.

Congratulations to Mr. Schmidt and Mrs. Phillips for receiving the G.O.A.T. Award of the Week!
Mr. Schmidt is truly a team player (pun intended) who works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. Many people may not realize just how much he does to support our students and our school. He does a lot to make sure all of our activities stay on track.
Mrs. Phillips is a compassionate and dedicated students support specialist who prioritizes building meaningful relationships with students. Known for her kind and caring nature, she consistently goes the extra mile to create a supportive and welcoming environment for everyone she works with. She ensures each student and staff member feels valued and understood, helping all to overcome obstacles.
