Last week, Mrs. Fernandini took her Spanish II students to ESU for Sociology of Sport Day on This event used interactive activities like basketball, self-defense, and archery to explore the organization and culture of sports. ESU student-athletes engaged our students in discussions about the relationships between athletes, their families, peers, and coaches. It was an insightful and enjoyable experience for everyone involved!

Ms. Paula is consistently positive, cheerful, and welcoming. She greets students with a smile, making them feel welcome, and is always willing to help with any task. She manages multiple responsibilities. Her supportive and friendly nature makes her a valuable colleague and friend.
Mrs. Coffman is always ready to help wherever needed, loved by both students and coworkers. She is always willing to help and is loved by students and coworkers. She works hard to find opportunities for seniors, makes school fun, and provides great support to students and staff. A caring listener, she gives thoughtful advice and consistently goes above and beyond to assist others.

Congratulations to Mrs. Whitmore and Mrs. Nuessen for receiving the G.O.A.T. Award of the Week!
Mrs. Whitmore is always willing to lend a helping hand, despite being pulled in many directions already. She makes great connections with our students, and she is a huge part of our Olpe family!
Mrs. Nuessen is one of the most hard working people in this school. She has been with the school district for 13 years, and her dedication to the kitchen, and making sure the food we serve looks and tastes great, is unmatched! She is great at staying organized, and her attention to detail when either cleaning, or cooking, is top notch!

Last week, 6th grade students conducted The Rainbow Lab during Scinece. They developed skills with measuring chemicals with a graduated cylinder, testing accuracy and precisions, and ability to follow directions.
