Since it's inception in 2016 Bryce and Juli Heitman have been instrumental in the coordination and success of our Honor Flight Program. Serving as our trip doctor and lead nurse, the Heitman's always go above and beyond to ensure all of the Veteran's medical needs are met. They are willing to make accommodations for many medical necessities that could precent some Veterans from wanting to attend an Honor Flight. The Heitman's sacrifice their time, resources, and finances to create a safe and reassuring medical environment for our Veterans while also providing their families peace of mind back home. Bryce and Juli set an incredible example of public service to our communities. We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Bryce and Juli for their support and service of our nation's Veterans and to the USD 252 Honor Flight Program.
USD 252 Southern Lyon County Schools will be closed on Friday, January 17 due to the inclement weather. This includes our daycare programs. Again all 252 facilities will be closed on Friday, January 17.

Our United Way Drive came to a close yesterday. Here are the final fundraising totals. Congratulations to our 3 classes raising over $75 and qualifying for a pizza party later this week!
Due to the snow day we are extending the United Way Drive until tomorrow, Tuesday the 17th, at noon!
Due to inclement weather, USD 252 schools will be closed tomorrow Monday, Dec. 16. Daycare will also be closed. All after school activities and games have also been cancelled.
