If the recent government shutdown has impacted you through changes to SNAP benefits or pay, we encourage you to complete a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application. This application helps ensure that students continue to receive nutritious meals at school.
Community resources are also available for additional support:
The Salvation Army – 327 Constitution Street, Emporia, KS Open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Abundant Harvest – Offering hot meals on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. Packaged food distribution is available on Monday, Thursday, and Friday at 8:30 a.m., and on Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. when supplies allow.
There are several food banks located in Emporia if you would like to utilize those.

Today, Mrs. Coffman brought her dog, Friley, to JH Leadership to introduce her to students and give her some practice with the skills she is learning as a future service dog. 🐾
We’re so excited to have Friley join our school family as she continues her training and begins providing support to students!
