The Olpe Library Book Fair starts tomorrow! The book fair will be open during the school day from 8:00am to 3:20pm, then during the posted evening hours for your convenience. Books for all ages, even infants and toddlers. Books make GREAT gifts of any kind!

The 1st Annual OES Scholarship Fundraiser starts February 1! OES classes are competing to raise as much money as possible. Olpe Seniors will each have their own bucket in the office, and OES students will put their money into their bucket of choice. The Top 3 Seniors with the most money in their buckets, get a pie to the face! The OES class with the most money raised, gets a game of kickball with the Senior Class! Seniors will have the opportunity to apply for the scholarship, and two will be awarded.
Spirit Week in the JH/HS is here! Kicks off tomorrow with Twin Day!
LCL Basketball Tournament week at White Auditorium is such a special week for all our Eagle Fans! We hope you will come out to cheer on our basketball teams, cheerleaders, and pep band on Friday AND Saturday.
EVERY DAY IS A GREAT DAY TO BE AN EAGLE!!!

Important info from the kitchen: You’ll see on the menus, some days there is no boxed salad option, but there is a cold sandwich option. This is not a typo…OPAA is trying something different this month so we’ll see how it goes!

Congrat's to the Eagles on their first round win at the LCL basketball tournament on Tuesday! The Lady Eagles will take on Madison Friday at 4:00pm, while the Eagle guys will also play Madison at 8:30pm.

The 2023 HS LCL Basketball Tournament kicks off on Monday, January 23 at White Auditorium in Emporia! Olpe plays:
*Monday, January 23 - Lady Eagles vs. Waverly at 7:00pm
*Tuesday, January 24 - Eagles vs. SCC at 8:30pm

Southern Lyon County Schools will be on a two hour delay due to inclement weather. Busses will run two hours later than normal. Daycare drop off will begin at 9:15am. Doors for K-12 will open at 9:30am with school starting at 10:00am.

The Junior High 22-23 basketball season wraps up this week. The JH LCL Tournament continues on Thursday, January 12 in Olpe. Olpe girls play Hartford at 5:00pm, Boys play Lebo at approximately 6:30pm. NO PASSES ACCEPTED! Adults $4, Students $3.
REMINDER: The OHS Blood Drive is tomorrow, Friday, January 6 from 9am to 3pm in the small gym. We can't wait to see you!
At approximately 10:51 am today, our SafeDefend system was unitentionally activated. This system automatically contacts law enforcement and school personnel of a potential threat in the building. An announcement was made to all staff and students immediately following the alert indicating a false alarm. At no time were staff or students in danger.
