Our SEL Team works alongside our entire OES staff to help strengthen relationships, problem-solve student needs, teach important social-emotional skills, and make sure our Eagles have the support they need to be successful.
And since our staff has been putting in some serious WORK this year, what better way to celebrate than an underground spirit week Workout Wednesday! 💪😂
Even better—we're beginning to see that hard work pay off!
📊 August/September OES Data
⬇️ 43.5% decrease in formal disciplinary actions
62 last year ➡️ 35 this year
⬇️ 59.6% decrease in detentions
47 last year ➡️ 19 this year
Those numbers don't happen by accident. They represent intentional work happening throughout OES—Morning Meetings, Social Contracts, Calm Corners, our Care Call system, Behavior Reflection Guides, increased supervision, restorative conversations, individualized supports, and most importantly, adults working together for kids. 💚💛
We know there is still work to do, but this progress is worth celebrating!
Turns out all that heavy lifting is paying off! 💪🦅

A Few Reminders for Our New Sports Complex
We are excited to welcome our Eagle community to our new sports complex for Friday night’s scrimmage! As we begin using this amazing new space, we appreciate everyone’s help in taking care of it.
Please stay off the track. Signs and ropes are in place as reminders. Spectators should remain in the designated seating and spectator areas.
Please leave footballs and other balls at home. Our new complex does not have the open space behind the field that we had at our previous facility. For the safety of everyone and to protect the new facility, we ask that balls not be thrown or games played inside the stadium area. Kids who would like to play catch or a game are welcome to do so outside the fenced complex.
Thank you for helping us take care of our new facility while still making Friday nights a fun experience for our Eagle families!
