Mr. Robert, Science Teacher

About Me:

I grew up on a farm near the Chase/Lyon County line and attended Saffordville Grade School through 6th grade, then transferred to Chase County middle school. I was hired by USD 252 before I graduated from Emporia State University in December of 1995 as a math/science teacher at Olpe, and have been blessed to be here for the past 27 years. During that time, I have enjoyed great students and their wonderful families, including multi-generations. It is incredible to see them go on to be successful in life.

Fun Facts:

  • I go by my middle name.
  •  I married my high school sweetheart (she was 19 and I was 21).
  •  I shattered my nose playing basketball during high school requiring surgery and pins.

Hobbies:

I enjoy cutting and splitting firewood, hunting, and fishing.
