As we move into the second semester, we are making a few adjustments in daily schedules to improve efficiencies and provide greater supports for our students.

In the elementary, we will be rearranging the MTSS schedule times . MTSS (Mutli-Tiered Systems of Support). During this time, teachers and support staff work with groups of students to hone in on specific skill deficits so that students can be more successful in the classroom.

In the JH/HS our 9th & 10th graders will be participating in ACT prep activties during our CORE time (9:10-9:40). 11th graders have been heavily engaged in ACT prep this first semester and will continue in the second semester leading up to the ACT test.

Also, in an effort to reduce missed class time due to spring activties, advisory is being moved to the end of the day.

Plans to increase core academic times (e.g. English, math, science, social studies) for 20-21 are also being considered. This would allow for our teachers to better prepare our students for post-secondary success.
