When to Keep Your Child Home From School
Fever
Any temperature over 100 degrees. Your student must be fever free for 24 hours without the aid of fever reducing medication.Nausea / Vomiting
If your student complains of nausea or vomits s/he should stay home for 24 hours after the last episode of vomiting.Diarrhea
Two or more liquid or watery stools in a 24 hour period.Sore Throat
Especially with fever, swollen glands, or a rash.Greenish Nasal Discharge
Take your student to your health care provider.Eyes
Swollen, redness about they eyes, white or colored drainage, or matted eyelids.Lice / Scabies
Student must be treated immediately. Student cannot attend school if live lice are found.Rash
Rash with itching or drainage .
