Budget Cuts Due to major budget cuts from the state and declining enrollment, our school district is facing unprecedented changes for next year.

On Wednesday, January 27 the USD 252 school board met to consider the options for reorganizing our school district next year. They came to a consensus to move forward with option 2 (keeping all building open, but cutting staff to a minimum). Option 1 (moving Neosho Rapids Elementary students to Hartford High) will be the next step if option 1 doesn't save enough money. For more details about the plan, click here to read the minutes of the January 27 board meeting.

Please click here to visit our district website. You will find more information about the options and enrollment demographics.

The next board meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. February 10 at Hartford.
