Honor Flight Program Needs Your Support!

Local Honor Flight Program Needs Your Support

Honor Flight Network flies veterans to Washington, DC to visit memorials built to honor their services to our nation. Honor Flight recognizes American veterans for their sacrifices and achievements by flying them to Washington, D.C. to see their memorial at no cost. Additionally, the purpose of the Honor Flight is to establish connections between teenagers and World War II, Korean and Vietnam veterans that allow both generations a better understanding and appreciation for each other.

USD 252 receives no government funding and depends entirely on the generous donations of local people. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. This program is completely ran by volunteers. Your donation will directly benefit our local veteran's and guardians travel expense.

If you would like to donate please make checks payable to Southern Lyon County Education Fund (a 501 [c]3 organization with Emporia Community Foundation). Mail donation to SLC Board Office, Attn: Honor Flight, PO Box 278, Hartford, KS 66854.
