 The Learning Toolbox: Designed for students with Learning Disabilities, it gives them strategies to succeed in different curriculum areas and different learning situations. BUT, can't everyone benefit from that kind of resource. There are 3 sections - student, parent & teacher.
Reading is Fundamental-Parent Site: Offers ideas and activities to motivate kids to read as well as to build and reinforce their reading skills.
 
Reading Rockets: Information on how to teach kids to read and help kids who struggle with reading.
   
Parent Connect! - Fall 2009 issue of new quarterly newsletter published by KPIRC (see below) to "support [parents] as they support their children’s learning."

Kansas Parent Information Resource Center (KPIRC): "The Kansas Parent Information Resource Center, federally funded under Title V of No Child Left Behind, is the official Parent Involvement Technical Assistance Center for Kansas. We are one of a national network of 60 PIRCs across the United States and are funded for five more years (2006 through 2011). The KPIRC works hand-in-hand with the KSDE State and Federal Programs office in providing you information and resources on early childhood through high school parent involvement. "
